About this product
Every two-wheel-drive robot needs the same three parts underneath: two driven wheels and one free-rolling castor at the front or back to keep the chassis level. This set gives you all three, sized to match standard BO motors and acrylic chassis plates.
The 65 mm wheels push onto the BO motor D-shaft without screws or adapters and have a soft rubber tread, so a line follower keeps its grip on smooth school floors and does not slide through turns. The 16 mm metal ball castor swivels freely in any direction and bolts on through a small mounting plate, using the holes already cut in our chassis kits.
A sensible spare to keep in the lab drawer, since wheels and castors are the parts that wear out or go missing first in a busy robotics club.
