About this product
The F450 is the drone every robotics club starts with. You get the classic 450mm glass-fibre frame with an integrated power distribution board, four A2212 1000KV brushless motors, four 30A ESCs, two pairs of 1045 propellers and a pre-flashed flight controller board. Everything screws together with the bundled hardware and a basic hex driver set.
Because nothing comes pre-soldered into a sealed shell, students actually see how a multirotor works: motor direction, ESC calibration, PID tuning, centre of gravity and thrust-to-weight all become hands-on lessons instead of textbook diagrams. Teachers typically run this as a 6-8 session project across a term.
You will also need a 3S 2200mAh LiPo battery, a balance charger and a 6-channel transmitter and receiver - all three are listed separately in this category so you can match them to your existing lab stock. Basic soldering skill is required for the ESC and battery leads.
