About this product
This kit turns a simple 4WD chassis into a robot that can find its own way across a room. An HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor sits on an SG90 servo and sweeps left and right like a radar head. The Arduino compares the distance readings, picks the clearer side and drives that way, reversing if it gets boxed in.
Because the sensor, servo and motor driver are all separate parts, students can change one thing at a time: raise the stopping distance, widen the scan angle, or add a buzzer that beeps as obstacles get closer. That makes it a far better teaching platform than a pre-built toy robot.
The box includes the chassis hardware, motors, wheels, sensor mount, jumper wires and screws, along with a build guide and tested sketch. Batteries are the only thing you need to add. Popular for school robotics clubs, exhibitions and weekend maker sessions.
