About this product
The line follower is the robot almost every student builds first, and for good reason. Two TCRT5000 infrared sensors look at the floor, an Arduino Nano decides which side has drifted off the black line, and the L298N driver speeds up one wheel to steer the robot back on track. Nothing is hidden inside a sealed module, so the logic stays visible and easy to explain.
Everything arrives unassembled: laser-cut acrylic chassis, motors, wheels, sensors, driver board, battery holder and fasteners. Assembly takes about 60 to 90 minutes with a screwdriver, and only the motor wires need soldering. We can supply them pre-tinned on request for school orders.
A printed quick-start card plus a downloadable pack gives you the wiring diagram, the tested Arduino sketch and a short exercise on tuning the sensor threshold for different track tapes. Ideal for Class 6 and above, science exhibitions and first-year engineering labs.
