The FS-i6X is the transmitter almost every Indian drone builder learns on, and for good reason: ten channels, a clear backlit screen, model memory for twenty aircraft and a menu simple enough that a Class 8 student can set up dual rates and throttle cut without help.

The bundled iA6B receiver gives you six PWM channels plus PPM and i-BUS outputs, so it talks to a basic flight controller board or a Pixhawk with equal ease and supports telemetry for battery voltage and RSSI. Binding takes seconds with the supplied bind plug.

It runs on four AA cells or an optional 2S pack, and the trainer port lets an instructor hand control to a student mid-flight and take it back instantly - a feature worth its weight in gold during a first flying session on the school ground.
