ABS+ is what you reach for when a part has to live in the real world. It shrugs off heat that would sag a PLA print, takes drilling and tapping without cracking, and survives being dropped, which makes it a good pick for robot chassis plates, motor mounts, jigs and casings.

This is a step up in difficulty from PLA. ABS wants a hot bed at 95 to 110 C, an enclosure or at least a draft-free corner, and patience with the first layer. eSUN's ABS+ formulation warps and smells noticeably less than ordinary ABS, but keep the room ventilated all the same. Finished parts can be smoothed with acetone vapour under adult supervision.

Supplied on a 1 kg net spool in Black, White, Grey, Red, Blue and Yellow. Store it dry, and dry the spool at 60 C for four hours if prints start showing stringing after a monsoon.
