About this product
The DHT22 is the grown-up version of the DHT11 that comes in most starter kits. It uses the same single-wire connection and the same Arduino library, but it reads the full 0 to 100 percent humidity range, goes down to minus 40 degrees Celsius and reports one decimal place instead of whole numbers.
Because this is the module version, the 10K pull-up resistor is already soldered on. You wire three pins - VCC, DATA and GND - call dht.readTemperature and you are done. That makes it a comfortable upgrade for students who have outgrown the DHT11 rounding and want a science fair weather station, a greenhouse monitor or a server room alarm with believable numbers.
Pairs neatly with a NodeMCU or ESP32 for pushing live readings to Blynk, ThingSpeak or a Google Sheet.
