About this product

The Blue Pill is the cheapest honest introduction to 32-bit Arm development. The STM32F103C8T6 runs at 72 MHz with 64 KB of flash, 37 GPIO pins, ten 12-bit ADC channels and hardware SPI, I2C, USB and CAN - specifications that leave an 8-bit Arduino well behind for the price of a couple of cups of chai.

We bundle the ST-Link V2 programmer because that is the part first-timers usually get stuck without. Connect four jumper wires to the SWD pins and you can flash and single-step debug the board from the Arduino IDE, STM32CubeIDE or PlatformIO, which makes it a genuinely good board for learning how embedded debugging actually works.

Best suited to diploma and engineering students, and to hobbyists building motor controllers, CAN bus experiments, data loggers and anything that needs faster sampling than an Uno can manage. Beginners should start with an Arduino or Pico first.
